Irmo: Neighborhood Guide

Irmo is a town northwest of Columbia along I-26, close to the eastern end of Lake Murray and the Harbison shopping area. Most of the area is served by School District Five of Lexington and Richland Counties. Residents are close to Harbison State Forest, Saluda Shoals Park and the lake; the trade-off is a longer drive downtown at rush hour. Irmo is known for its annual Okra Strut festival.
