Listing policy

How businesses get listed, what we check, and what a listing does not mean

How a business is listed

  • Businesses are added from their own public websites or submitted by their owners.
  • Before publishing we confirm the website loads and belongs to the business, and compare the phone number with the one on that website.
  • A phone number appears only if it matched the business's website. Hours are not shown, because they change more often than we can check.
  • Descriptions summarise what the business says about itself, without superlatives or third-party ratings we have not checked.

What a listing does not mean

A listing is not an endorsement or a recommendation. We do not verify licences, insurance, reviews or the quality of work. Listings are shown alphabetically and are never ranked for payment.

Before hiring, check the business yourself: each category page links the relevant official lookup, such as the SC Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation licence search for contractors.

Audits and removals

The directory was audited on September 26, 2026. Listings whose website was missing or belonged to another business were removed, and phone numbers that did not match the business's own website were taken down. Listings that can no longer be confirmed are removed.

Business owners can ask for a correction or removal at support@dixonappstudio.com.

Reviews

Visitors can submit a review on a listing page. Reviews are held for moderation; we remove reviews that are abusive, off-topic, or appear to be written by the business or a competitor.
